Blood Thinner Shortage

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the shortage of a blood thinner.

Merck, maker of eptifibatide (Intergrilin) injection, announced that there is currently a shortage of several presentations due to manufacturing delays.

The report noted that limited inventory is available, and it will be resupplied periodically.
